Requirements

Terms and Conditions

TRAILING AND PUSHING BOATS, WORKBOATS, EQUIPMENT AND STAFF ARE MADE ONLY AVAILABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: 

a) floating objects that do have their own propulsion and / or manouvring means, but do not use them during towing, assisting and providing services, the provisions of the "General Sleep Conditions 1946" apply. 

b) Towing, assisting and providing services to ships that are wholy or mainly intended for sea navigation, other than referred to under a), the "Dutch Towage Conditions 1951" apply. 

c) For sea transports the "BIMCO / Towcon conditions 2008" apply. 

d) The towing conditions 1965 apply to towing, assisting and providing services to all other towing vessels. 

e) For assistance, the "Recovery Conditions 1958" apply (adapted on 7 February 1974). 

f) For the hiring and renting of tugs and pushers in contracting, dredging, special transports, sand and gravel transport (buckets, goats, cranes, etc.) for both towing and pushing, the "Rental conditions for tugs and pushers Dredging company 1994 apply ". 

g) For pushing and providing all other services on and / or on board pushed barges - insofar as not covered by the concept of assistance - and subject to specially agreed other conditions for the Dredging and Contractor company, the "General Push Conditions 2004" apply . 

h) For assisting push units, the "Conditions for assisting push units" slipped. 

i) For rental or use of barges or barges, the "Deck barges Terms of Use 1961" apply. 

j) For the use of floating bokken, the "Bokken Terms of Use 1979" apply. 

k) For the transport of goods on board a pontoon, barge or ship, the "Conditions of Carriage 1991" apply, 

l) whereby the cargo is insured by the client with the exception of recourse to Walrus Maritiem BV. Conditions for the performance of contracts by crane operators 1991 ". 

m) Storage of goods takes place on the "General conditions for storage, storage and delivery of goods" (Rotterdam Storage Conditions). 

ALL CONDITIONS Deposited at the GRIFFE OF THE ARRONDISSEMENTSRECHTBANK IN ROTTERDAM. 

OF ALL MENTIONED CONDITIONS AND CONDITIONS, THE NEWEST VERSION ALWAYS APPLIES. 

A COPY OF THESE CONDITIONS WILL BE SENT TO YOU ON REQUEST. 

INSURANCE: 

Transport insurance for the transported goods is never included in the freight rate and must be taken out by the client at his own expense. The right of recourse to Walrus Maritiem BV must be excluded. 

MEDIATION: 

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Walrus Maritiem BV will only act as a mediator if the work referred to under a) up to and including m) is not performed by it through third party mediation, but with or without the knowledge of the client or ordering party. and regardless of who is responsible for paying the client or buyer for the payment thereof. 

PAYMENT: 

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment of our invoices must be made within 30 days of the invoice date. 

No discount is given for payments made earlier. If the payment term is exceeded, collection, prosecution and legal costs due to non-payment will be entirely at the expense of the client or orderer. 

Moreover, the client or orderer owes 3% interest per month for late payment.
